Statistics tell us that sexual harassment continues to be a very serious problem in the modern workplace. While all employees have the right to a respectful environment, free from harassment, incidents of inappropriate comments and behaviors continue to appear in businesses of all sizes and industries. This course will address each individual's role and responsibility within the workplace, as well as how to deal with sexual harassment claims (both as an employee and as a manager). Additionally, this course will:

Module 1 – Introduction to Sexual Harassment
In order to effectively train all employees and managers on the subject of sexual
harassment in the workplace, they must first have an understanding of what
sexual harassment is, including both the defined and "gray area" issues.
To that end, this module focuses on the importance of building a solid foundation
of sexual harassment. Additionally, employees and managers will review and
acknowledge their company's policy, and be provided with information on
the corporate costs of sexual harassment.Audience: Staff & Managers Length: 20 minutes The learning outcomes for this module are:
Module 2 – Laws and Cases of Sexual Harassment
There are key historic cases that set legal precedents for the way sexual harassment training is now delivered in all companies to all employees. In this module, employees will review these cases and understand how they influenced the laws created to define and manage sexual harassment in the workplace.

Module 3 – Speak Up! Reporting Workplace Harassment
Many victims of workplace harassment do not report the incident(s). Having all employees understand why victims choose not to speak up is imperative to having them understand why they all must. The key to teaching employees their individual roles and responsibilities, in regards to preventing and responding to workplace violence, is giving them an understanding of the real and severe impacts of harassment. They have to understand that harassment not only impacts the individual(s) involved, but also the entire workplace. Module 4 – Management Responsibility and Liability
Mangers must understand that it is their responsibility to create a respectful working environment for all employees. To accomplish this, managers must clearly communicate and deliver a company's policy and training programs to all staff members. Additionally, if there is an incident, managers must know what needs to be reported and how to do so.Audience: Managers Length: 13 minutes The learning outcomes for this module are:
Module 5 – How to Handle a Sexual Harassment
Claim
Teaching managers to properly handle a sexual harassment claim is imperative
for any company that wants to ensure employees that harassment is a serious
issue that will not be tolerated. Managers need to clearly understand the
difference between gray and defined areas and how to handle claims in each
